ABOUT US


The government of Chile, through the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in collaboration with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) are organizing the event “Productivity and Inclusive Growth”, a seminar of international character, which take place in Santiago, Chile, during December 5th and 6th this year. This meeting will include the presence of ministers -from all over Latin America- linked to productive issues, and international economic experts who will discuss the challenges of productivity in Chile and the rest of the Region.

This event is framed under the OECD’s Regional Program for Latin America and the Caribbean, whose objective is to support the Region’s governments in its efforts to design and implement the adequate policies to increase productivity, improve social inclusion and strengthen institutions and governance.

It will be comprised of two segments: first, a high attendance seminar framed within the closing of the year of productivity; and, secondly and immediately afterwards, an OECD ministerial meeting to analyze and discuss about the main challenges of productivity in the region.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Framed within the closing of the Year of Productivity, this encounter aims to gather Latin American Ministers together with academics, experts and international leaders to analyze and discuss about the main challenges in relation to productivity and inclusive growth in Chile and the region.
